Job Description: KFC Food Service Team Member
As a Culinary Specialist at KFC North, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking KFC products in accordance with our approved standards and procedures. Your duties will include:
- Following approved KFC procedures to prepare and cook KFC products under the guidance of the manager.
- Portioning ingredients and cooked products according to approved KFC standards.
- Monitoring product quality by regularly checking expiration dates and times for each product.
- Ensuring the correct use of product holding equipment to maintain optimal holding times and temperatures.
- Adhering to standard procedures and schedules for cleaning and sanitizing food preparation and storage areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Capturing product preparation information and monitoring product quality by acting upon expiration dates and times for products.
- Embracing Yum’s culture principles and embodying them in your work ethic.
- Maintaining an obsession with product quality to ensure that products are prepared and served to customers as per KFC standards, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Performing any additional duties as requested by the Restaurant General Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Supervisor.
Requirements: KFC Food Service Team Member
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Experience in culinary arts or food preparation, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with the ability to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
