G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, is currently seeking a diligent and reliable Cash Centre Teller to join our team based in Rustenburg. Reporting to the Cash Centre Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for effectively counting, balancing, and reconciling customer funds in accordance with cash processing procedures.
Role Responsibility: G4S: Cash Centre Teller
- Manage the distribution of all cash bags and containers efficiently.
- Receive and distribute bags/containers to various areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all received work.
- Verify the accuracy of information on bags and containers.
- Execute day-to-day cash processing operations securely and accurately.
- Facilitate the preparation of customer coin and cash orders.
- Operate high-speed equipment for processing transactions.
- Proactively identify and report any discrepancies in customer cash deposits.
- Cross-train in multiple processes to support all cash processing services.
- Sort and verify cash and coin accurately.
- Complete all compliance and role-specific training.
- Adhere strictly to procedures related to cash counting, packing, balancing, and reconciliation.
- Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility in handling cash and sensitive information.
- Participate in safety forums and adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing as required.

Qualifications and Experience: G4S: Cash Centre Teller
- Grade 12 with mathematics or accounting.
- 1 – 3 years of relevant teller working experience preferred.
- Strong grasp of fundamental financial principles.
Knowledge and Skills: G4S: Cash Centre Teller
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strict adherence to policies and procedures.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in teams.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving containers and trolleys with substantial weight.
